Farewell
Reflection
“Things may end, but memories last forever!” This course has come to an end but the approaches or strategies I learned from this course will last forever by passing on to my students and to the future generations. This course ED 638 Teaching with the Internet has taught me a lot of effective strategies. I am grateful for all the skills and knowledge I have acquired from this class. I learned many helpful and informative strategies that I can apply in my classroom. Learning many things in Teaching with The Internet have changed my perspective and therefore will change my approach in teaching reading lessons to my students. This course is one hardest session and also very challenging, but to be challenged is one way that helps strengthen my knowledge.
Furthermore, I am grateful for all the things you have taught us from the very first start. I have learned many effective websites that I can refer to them on doing my lessons to make it more interesting and motivating for students. It takes a lot of time to go through many effective literacy websites to choose to talk about but all those websites are worth it because I get to learn about many websites that can help me develop more interesting lessons. I now can use the websites to get worksheets, tutorial videos and many interesting resources. I have also learned some internet tools I can use to deliver my lesson and already have an account on talentlms I can use especially during this pandemic and will gladly share it with my colleagues for the better of our student’s learning skills. I also learned how to develop a lesson plan on using google earth. Google Earth is a great tool that can help student’s more familiar with their surroundings.
To conclude, it was nice working with my classmates because I also learned a lot from them by sharing ideas together and getting help from them. I would also like to give a big thanks to my professor Dr. Rivera for all the helpful things she taught me. Those challenging tasks, helpful strategies, feedback, and suggestions surely enhance my learning skills and will surely enhance my teaching skills. You taught, not just what ought to be taught, but also what you thought we needed to learn. Thanks for everything, farewell.
