The vision
of Read Work is to ensure that every children in the United States can read
well with deep comprehension because all educators teach reading effectively
with the superb reading content and curriculum they need. Read Work is a
nonprofit website that partners with K-12 teachers across the country to solve
the nation's literacy crisis. ReadWorks does this by bridging the gap between
research and practice in reading comprehension instructions. Million teachers
and students are using ReadWorks to improve teaching and learning in their
classrooms today. ReadWorks regularly update their remote and hybrid resources
for educators and families. ReadWork is completely free and they have free
contents, curriculums, and tools to empower teaching and learning from Kindergarten
to 12th grade.
You can use
ReadWorks in three ways. The ways are digital classes, print, and projectors.
In digital classes, students can highlight, annotate, and complete assignments
online; and teachers can access progress reports and automatic grading on this
site. As for print, teachers and students can easily print any of the contents
and curriculum to discuss in class. The other way is teachers can easily
project their instructions from this site.
I strongly believe that this website will be helpful for teachers and students here on the island. This website does not only focus on certain grade levels, but it can help teachers from Kindergarten all the way to 12th grade. Teachers can go to this website and use the strategies used in this website that makes reading comprehension instructions works. Therefore, I encourage that teachers here on the island visit this websites since our students are having difficulty comprehending reading materials assigned to them and answering comprehension questions.
